ANCA NICULAE - B.A.Sc. Chief Executive Officer
Mrs. Niculae is the President and CEO of Humber Valley Imaging (HVI), a well established accredited provider of diagnostic imaging facilities in Ontario. Anca has been involved in the Diagnostic Imaging Sector since 1986 and oversaw HVI’s growth over 30 years.
She has been instrumental in increasing revenues through steady organic growth with over 50 healthcare providers presently employed and being recognized by over 600 referring physicians. HVI is known for the delivery of expedited, high quality diagnostic services to approximately 100,000 patients per year and is successfully managing 10 large diagnostic facilities in the Greater Toronto Area
In parallel with organic growth, HVI expanded through strategic acquisitions throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Anca was responsible for pursuing and completing the transactions which included working with potential acquisition targets through all aspects of the process; prospecting leads, negotiations and closing. Three acquisitions were completed in the last few years; the assets acquired included licenses and operational diagnostic imaging facilities that were all expanded and are now successfully operating at their full potential. Anca has demonstrated the ability to develop and enhance sustainable business values through focusing on organic growth, operational efficiency and improved service quality by incorporating the latest technology in the diagnostic imaging field.
Mrs. Niculae has over 30 years of healthcare business development experience and holds a Biomedical Engineering degree from University of Toronto.
KENNY RANGUNWALA - MBBS, ARDMS, RDCS President, Diagnostic Imaging
Mr. Rangunwala is the Vice President of Diagnostic Imaging at Humber Valley Imaging (HVI), a well established accredited provider of diagnostic imaging facilities in Ontario. Kenny has been involved in the Diagnostic Imaging Sector since 1988 and was part of HVI for the past 31 years.
Kenny has been instrumental in improving and maintaining a high standard of care. As a Corporate Chief Technologist he knows how to create a professional working atmosphere for the technical team. His ability to achieve the highest possible standards, his knowledge and expertise in the diagnostic imaging field reflects in the high quality of diagnostic services provided at HVI.
His proficiency allows him to not only implement and maintain the quality achieved by the technical team, but also create excellent patient / physician relations. He is also an instrumental part of incorporating the latest technology in diagnostic imaging as HVI is fully digital since 2006.
Mr. Rangunwala has 35 years of diagnostic imaging experience and holds a Medical degree from B.J. Medical School, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. ARDMS and RDCS degrees from the Institute of Allied Medical Profession, New York
SIMONA NIKOLIC - B.Sc., M.Ed. Operational Manager
Simona has been involved in various positions with Humber Valley Imaging since 1997. Her ability to lead, plan and manage change has been instrumental in ensuring HVI’s efficient growth, while ensuring the highest level of diagnostic imaging quality and patient care are maintained and adhered as per all College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and Ministry of Health guidelines.
Simona’s responsibilities include all Information Technology (IT) operations, Quality Control and Compliance.
In 2006, she was a key component in leading HVI through digitization of all modalities.
Simona holds an Honors Bachelor of Biological Science degree from the University of Guelph as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Daemen College, New York State.
SHELLY NAKAWALA - Operational Manager
Ms. Shelly Nakawala brings excellent knowledge in computer programming involving medical diagnostic industry and human resources. Her background with Medical Software development that controls day to day activity of diagnostic imaging and transferring them directly to radiologists via net based applications, helped in smooth transformation of all our clinics affiliated to Humber Valley Imaging.
In 2008, Shelly joined Humber Valley Imaging with medical software and health care experience. At HVI, Shelly operates all activities involving direct communication with Ministry of Health and complaint resolution from our Patients. Her programming and health care back ground helps our staff and clinic to improve in their activities. She is on the Quality Control Committee and her active involvement brings many improvements to our digital portal.
Shelly is an excellent leader and her passion for customer service, active involvement in all management and operational activities makes her a key player in running our business.
LINDSAY NICULAE - B.H.Sc. Operational Manager
Ms. Lindsay Niculae is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario, Health Science Specialization. She is passionate in all aspects of Health including and not limited to Education, Promotion and Innovation.
In 2013, Lindsay has joined Humber Valley Imaging having gained her expertise at iMD Health where she was responsible for managing office operations and leading the push to a successful national expansion. Lindsay has a background in client based communication and is a key player on our management team with her contribution in improving organizational processes. Lindsay works toward to improve quality, productivity & efficiency and is often involved in special projects within our business.
